How do I check if it's my turn for the COVID-19 Vaccine?

You can check if you have the appropriate criteria to get vaccinated at https://enabiz.gov.tr/. If you have never used e-nabiz, you can access https://enabiz.gov.tr/ from here by logging into the e-government platform first.

The alternative way to determine if you are eligible for vaccination is to text ASI UKKN (International Protection Identification Number / GKKN (Temporary Protection Identification Number) and your year of birth (e.g. 'ASI 991234567 1988') to 2023 and receive a message instantly stating whether you are in the priority group for vaccination.

If you are eligible to be vaccinated, you can make a vaccination appointment with MHRS (Central Physician Appointment System) on the e-government platform. You can also make an appointment by calling 182 (MHRS). If the appointment line does not work, you can get support by contacting the District/Provincial Health Directorate.

Where Can I Get My Vaccine?

Once you have received your appointment, you will receive an informative message about when and where you will receive the vaccine. You can also call ALO 182 (MHRS) for more information.

If there is a special situation that causes you to be unable to leave the house, you can make your vaccination by calling the District Health Directorate to inform you of your situation and the vaccination teams can visit you.

How many times do I get vaccinated?

The COVID-19 vaccine used in Turkey is administered in two doses, each dose of which is made four weeks (28 days) apart. After having the first dose of the vaccine, you will receive an SMS with details about the second dose.

Do I need documents/documents to get vaccinated?

You must present your valid Republic of Turkey ID card and the appointment number you received from MHRS. If you do not have a T.C ID card, please contact the Ministry of Health call center (ALO 184).

Should I pay any fees to get vaccinated?

If you are registered in Turkey and legally residing in the country, your vaccination is free of charge through the Ministry of Health.

Is the COVID-19 vaccine safe?

Very strict measures are being taken to ensure the safety of all COVID-19 vaccines. Before receiving approval from the World Health Organization and national regulatory agencies, COVID-19 vaccines undergo rigorous testing in clinical trials to prove that they meet internationally recognized criteria for reliability and effectiveness.

What are the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine?

As with any vaccine, the COVID-19 vaccine can show side effects such as low-grade fever or pain or redness at the injection site, muscle aches at the vaccine site. Most reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine are mild and pass together within 1-2 days.
