21.Pandemic Of The Century Covid-19

Because of the global epidemic that has been on the agenda for the last few months, each of us's entire lives have taken a different shape. We realized how much freedom it is to be healthy during this health shortage that we passed through. Even those of us who say you care about your health insurance, whether foreign health insurance is compulsory or not, have noticed how important an area we have emphasized in this process.

As you know, health insurance for residence permit T.C. it is mandatory in its laws. Private health insurance for foreigners can be made online from our website. However, in our current situation, the service of our site corresponds to a very important place for residence insurance.

What is this pandemic that affects the whole world? In general, the pandemic is a global epidemic. Epidemics are examined by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention under the titles pandemic (global outbreak), epidemic (local outbreak), and outbreak (outbreak onset). The pandemic on our agenda is settled in our language due to Covid-19 disease, which occurs between countries and continents.

When we look at the history of the world, we see that many epidemics create pandemics. When we look at these outbreaks, we see that, unfortunately, millions of people have died. We encounter epidemics that change the fate of many civilizations. E.g. 6. while the plague epidemic of Justinianos seen in the century destroyed half of the world's population, 800 centuries after that outbreak, it was the 14th. the plague epidemic, also called the Black Death in the century, wiped out half of Europe's population. In the 20th century, the outbreak caused by the influenza virus caused 5% of the world's population to disappear in a period of only 2 years.

With the increase of the human population, such epidemics became inevitable in human history. We know that we will experience the events of the past and present in the future. While it is difficult to predict when, where and how this will unfold, we are taking steps to hopeful solutions in our advancing world.

Covid-19, which was declared a pandemic, has been identified as the new coronavirus. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause disease in animals or humans. In humans, several coronavirus are known to cause respiratory infections, ranging from colds to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)

January 13 december, new Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a virus first identified in China's Vuhan province on January 13, 2020 as a result of research conducted in a group of patients who developed respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath) in late December.

The outbreak was initially identified in those found at the seafood and animal market in this region. It then spread to other cities in Hubei province, especially Vuhan, and other provinces of the people's Republic of China and other countries around the world.

It is known that it is transmitted by the inhalation of droplets scattered in the environment by coughing sneezes of sick individuals. The virus can also be picked up by taking the hands to the face, eyes, nose or mouth without washing after touching surfaces contaminated with respiratory particles. Contact with eyes, nose or mouth with dirty hands is risky.

To avoid this disease, T.C the measures stated by the Ministry of Health are as follows

* Hand cleaning should be considered. Hands should be washed with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and alcohol-based hand antiseptic should be used when there is no soap and water. There is no need to use antiseptic or antibacterial soap, normal soap is enough.

* Hands should not be touched with mouth, nose and eyes without washing.

* Avoid contact with sick people (if possible, be at least 1 m away).

* Hands should be cleaned frequently, especially after direct contact with sick people or their environment

* Due to the intensive presence of patients, if possible, contact with other patients should be minimized.

* During coughing or sneezing, the nose and mouth should be covered with disposable tissue, in cases where tissue paper is not available, inside the elbow should be used, if possible, crowded places should not be entered, if you have to enter the mouth and nose should be closed, medical mask should be used.

* Avoid eating raw or undercooked animal products. Well-cooked foods should be preferred.

High-risk areas for general infections, such as farms, live animal markets and areas where animals can be slaughtered, should be avoided.

* If there are any respiratory symptoms within 14 days after travel, contact the nearest medical facility by wearing a mask and tell the doctor about the travel history.

While we wish each of us patience during these difficult days when we learn how important health is, we would like to underline once again that we should not neglect the fear of disease in the days when we are healthy.
